The Center for Teaching & Learning coordinated the 2007-2008 Dream It Do It High School Champion Project.  This project was part of the Tomorrow's Manufacturing Workforce grant through the Indiana Region 9 Workforce Board and the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.  Read about the project and Promising/Best Practices that emerged during year one.

AP Summer Institute

Registration has started for the Center of Teaching & Learning's AP Summer Institute. The fee is $475 and includes College Board materials. All sessions meet daily for 4 days – Monday through Thursday – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

2008 Kids ROBOColumbus Camp

Science Mentor Project

The Science Mentor Project is a collaborative initiative of teaching professionals from Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation, Indiana University Purdue University Columbus and Purdue University College of Technology and is supported by the Center for Teaching & Learning. This is a three year project focused on K-6 Science instruction funded from an Indiana Department of Education MSP (Math Science Program) Inquiry-Based Science Grant.

The Center for Teaching & Learning houses the project kits developed by year #1 science mentors in the Curriculum Resource Lab. These kits are available for approved science mentors on a reservation/check-out basis.
