Mentoring Institute

This institute is an IDPS-approved program to prepare experienced teachers to serve as mentors. Through examination of the knowledge, performances and dispositions of standards-based teachers, as well as best-practice classrooms, participants will reflect upon their own practice and learn to examine the practices of beginning teachers as these apply to student learning and assessment, classroom management, action research and licensure portfolio development.
